In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations of the kennel and grooming salon, ensuring exceptional care for animals while delivering outstanding customer service. Your leadership will inspire a team of pet care professionals, foster a safe and clean environment, and promote a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for animals with strong management skills in a lively, pet-focused setting. Duties Manage daily operations of the kennel and grooming salon, including scheduling staff shifts and coordinating animal care activities Supervise pet handling, grooming, and training sessions to ensure high-quality service delivery Oversee animal intake, restraint, feeding, cleaning, and overall well-being in accordance with safety standards Train and mentor staff on animal handling techniques, grooming procedures, customer service protocols, and safety practices Maintain detailed records of animal health, grooming services performed, and customer interactions Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including kennels, grooming areas, and equipment Assist with pet sitting duties as needed to support team coverage during busy periods or staff absences Experience Proven experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or pet grooming environment Strong dog handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint techniques Experience in pet grooming or pet sitting services Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership ability managing a team in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during animal care activities Join us to make a positive impact on pets' lives while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence in animal care!
