From dog walking and pet sitting to daycare, marketing, and community events, we put our hearts into everything we do. We're growing fast and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to help lead our team and keep tails wagging! Position Overview The Assistant Manager will play a key role in daily operations, team leadership, and client relations. This is a hands-on role that combines office management with fieldwork—perfect for someone who can juggle multiple priorities while keeping a positive, team-focused mindset. Responsibilities Create and manage staff schedules Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, text, email, and in person Lead, motivate, and support a growing pet care team Monitor and maintain service quality and attention to detail Cover dog walks, pet visits, and daycare shifts when needed (including last-minute requests or call-ins) Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow clientele Manage and create engaging social media content Assist in planning events, promotions, and outreach initiatives Qualifications Strong leadership and communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and problem-solve quickly Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan Previous management, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred Pet care experience required
Compensation & Schedule Training Period:
$17/hr for approximately 2 weeks while shadowing and learning company operations Transition to
Salary:
