Position Summary As a Dog Groomer, you will provide professional grooming services that promote the health, comfort, and appearance of our clients' pets. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are top priorities. What You'll Do Grooming Services Perform breed-specific and pet-parent requested haircuts and styling Bathe, brush, de-shed, trim nails, clean ears, and complete finishing services Evaluate coat condition, skin health, and overall pet wellness before and during grooming Ensure each pet receives individualized care based on temperament, age, and condition Pet Care & Safety Safely handle and restrain pets using proper grooming techniques Maintain a calm and positive environment for nervous or anxious pets Monitor pets throughout the grooming process and report any health concerns Follow all safety, sanitation, and animal care procedures Customer Experience Consult with pet owners regarding grooming expectations and recommendations Educate customers on coat maintenance, grooming schedules, and overall pet wellness Recommend appropriate products, foods, and supplements available in-store Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty Team & Facility Support Keep grooming areas, tools, tubs, and equipment clean and sanitized Assist team members as needed to maintain smooth daily operations Support general pet care and store responsibilities when appropriate What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Professional dog grooming experience Ability to perform a variety of breed-specific and custom grooming styles Strong knowledge of pet handling and grooming safety practices Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Reliable, punctual, and professional Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a grooming salon, pet care facility, or veterinary environment Knowledge of pet nutrition and wellness products Experience handling senior, anxious, or special-needs pets What Success Looks Like Consistently delivering high-quality grooms that exceed customer expectations Creating positive experiences for pets and their owners Identifying and communicating health concerns appropriately Contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming salon environment Building a loyal client base through exceptional service and professionalism Supporting Spoiled Paws' continued growth through customer retention and referrals Why Join Spoiled Paws?
