Evening Dog Daycare Monitor

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs while their owners are away. You will interact with various breeds and temperaments, ensuring that each dog receives the care and attention they need throughout the day. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive atmosphere in our daycare facility. Responsibilities Evening Dog Monitor (after closing)

• Lock front door after last employee leaves
• Finish and fold laundry
• Perform regular head count of boarders (more frequently if anxious dog or "escape artist" present)
• Maintain inside and outside play areas of dog messes
• Regular perimeter sweep of premises
• Provide water and dog beds in all interior areas
• Provide late night dinner, snacks or medication if needed
• Monitor safety of premises (electric cords, sharp edges, heaters, etc.)
• Exchange information with Overnight person Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in pet care or related fields.

Pay:

$12.00 - $13.50 per hour
