Position Overview As a K9 Assistant , you'll supervise group play, ensure a safe and fun environment for our dogs, and help maintain a clean, healthy facility. This is an active role that requires attentiveness, reliability, and a true love for working with dogs. Schedule & Requirements Weekday availability starting at 5:45am 18+ years old Reliable transportation & valid driver's license Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Team-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Basic computer skills Comfortable using cleaning products and following sanitation protocols Key Responsibilities Dog Supervision & Playgroup Management Monitor and manage large group play Provide consistent engagement and supervision Address behavioral concerns appropriately Maintain a zero-tolerance standard for animal mistreatment Cleaning & Facility Care Perform continual spot cleaning throughout shifts Complete daily cleaning tasks (mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, scrubbing surfaces) Follow proper chemical usage and sanitation procedures Health & Safety Follow all feeding and medication instructions exactly Monitor dogs for unusual behavior or health concerns If you're dependable, energetic, and passionate about providing exceptional care, we'd love to meet you.
