Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. This role requires a blend of technical grooming skills and outstanding customer service to ensure that both pets and their owners have a positive experience. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our furry clients while fostering lasting relationships with their owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming van, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Handle pets with care, using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both the groomer and the animal. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing client records as needed. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow within the facility. Qualifications At least 2 years grooming experience A driver's license with a clean MVR Excellent customer service skills with an ability to build rapport with clients. Strong understanding of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs. Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately; experience with animal restraint techniques is beneficial. Must possess good physical stamina as the role involves standing for extended periods and handling animals of varying sizes.
