Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker and Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care for dogs during their walks. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of pets while providing a positive experience for both the animals and their owners. Responsibilities Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization. Maintain control of dogs at all times, using proper handling techniques to ensure their safety. Monitor the behavior and health of each dog during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner. Provide basic grooming services as needed, including brushing and cleaning after walks. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning up after dogs during walks. Assist with additional animal care tasks as needed, such as feeding or administering medication. Stay at clients homes and care for pets while away Requirements Experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to handle various breeds and temperaments of dogs safely and confidently. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques is beneficial. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
