Job Description
Hello! I have a small canine care company based out of Northern Westchester County, NY. I am hiring for part time walkers with occasional in-home sitting opportunities. I am looking for someone who has experience with dogs as well as great customer service. We need an active individual who is responsible, personable and absolutely must love dogs! Basic understanding of dog psychology and cues are preferred. While dogs are our priority, being able to effectively communicate and give excellent customer service is also needed to succeed with us. Summer months are here and this is the best time to get out there and start walking with some amazing dogs!
Responsibilities will include:
- Face to face customer interactions as well as communication through our app that we use
- Ability to walk up to 3 dogs at time (Training on handling will be given)
- Must have a car that you are willing to use for transportation.
- A clean driving record is absolutely essential
- Disposal of dog waste
- Keeping track of daily tasks and time management
- Willingness to learn proper care techniques and form great relationships with the pups and their owners! You will be caring for their fur baby! As we are an ever growing company, I am able to offer flexible scheduling. Typical hours would be roughly 10am
- 5pm.
