  • We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Pet Sitting/Kennel Assistant Manager.
As the Pet Sitting Asistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our team of pet sitters, ensuring the highest level of care for our clients' beloved pets.

As the Kennel Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of the animals under our care while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our facility.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of pet sitters, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance. Ensure that all ;et sitters are equipped with necessary supplies and information.
  • Coordinate pet sitting assignments and ensure all client requests are met
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their pet care needs and preferences
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with pet sitters to ensure quality of service
  • Pet Sitting procedures
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for pet sitting visits, including checklists, protocols for emergencies and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor the well-being of pets under our care and address any concerns promptly
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling pet sitters, scheduling clients, booking clients,maintaining client records and pet details
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • such as social. media management, advertising, promotional materials and special events.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to uphold the standards of our pet sitting services
  • Customer Feedback
  • collect and respond to customer feedback to improve services and identify areas of growth.
  • Client Communications
  • Handle client inquiries,requests and concerns through phone, email, or in person meetings. Respond to questions and provide information about pet sitting services, policies, and procedures.
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in pet care, pet sitting, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Kennel;
  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kennel, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and medication administration
  • Supervise kennel staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensure all animals receive proper care and attention according to their individual needs
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kennel facilities, including regular cleaning and disinfecting of kennels, play areas, and common areas
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals and coordinate veterinary care as needed
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners to address any concerns or special requests
  • Manage inventory of supplies and ensure adequate stock levels at all times
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of staff and animals
  • Record keeping
  • maintain accurate records of animal intake, vaccinations and medical treatments.
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a kennel or animal care facility, with at least [2] years in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of animal behavior, health, and nutrition
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
