Full Job Description Job Description:
The hours will be SPLIT shift•please make sure you read this before applying.
Hours are:
7am•11-12 pm 4pm•5:30-7 pm 9-10 pm (This could be the same person or an additional person to lock up at night. Every night $20) We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant. The ideal candidate has to have a lot of experience with dogs, responsible, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal care.
Responsibilities:
Feed and water all dogs according to instructions Clean and sanitize kennels, bowls, and common areas Let dogs out for potty breaks and playtime Administer basic medications if needed (training provided) Monitor health and behavior of dogs and report any concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility Interact with dogs in a gentle and respectful manner Assist with dog baths, nail trims, and light grooming (if needed)
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar setting is highly preferred. Prior experience with dogs is a MUST Knowledge of animal handling techniques, restraint methods, and basic pet care practices. Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes Ability to follow instructions and work independently Punctual, dependable, and hardworking Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
