Role:
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the seasonal dog walker safely walks dogs in the boarding facility. This role may also include additional duties to help the kennel assistant on shift, such as providing water, doing dishes, etc.

Conveying health information to teammates to ensure successful patient care.

Following directions from the kennel assistant on duty.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provides great care for patients visiting the practice for boarding. Ensures patients are walked according to protocol. Accurately relay any health or behavior concerns to the kennel assistant on duty. Observes patients' appearance and activity for general physical condition, obvious signs of illness, disease, and discontent. Appropriately handles patients and as needed, properly restrains hard-to-control patients. Walks patients to provide exercise and time for elimination of bowels and bladder. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to work on weekends and holidays as required Ability to lift patients over 25 pounds with assistance Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper
