In person We are hiring an experienced dog groomer / pet stylist for a busy, growing grooming salon. This position is for a groomer who can complete full grooms independently, communicate professionally with pet parents, and consistently produce high-quality work. This is not an entry-level bathing position. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has professional dog grooming experience Can complete full grooms from start to finish Is comfortable with breed-style cuts, shave-downs, trims, sanitary trims, feet, faces, ears, and nails Can safely and compassionately handle dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and coat conditions Communicates well with customers about coat condition, matting, haircut expectations, and pet concerns Takes pride in clean, consistent, professional grooming work Wants to build or continue growing a loyal grooming clientele Responsibilities Perform full-service dog grooming, including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, trimming, scissoring, dematting when appropriate, and styling Consult with pet owners on haircut preferences and realistic grooming outcomes Identify and communicate visible concerns such as matting, skin irritation, ear issues, lumps, cuts, or other conditions noticed during grooming Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming station Follow safe handling practices for every pet Work cooperatively with the team to provide a positive experience for pets and customers Requirements Prior professional pet grooming experience is required Must be able to complete full grooms independently Strong knowledge of dog coat types, grooming tools, and common breed styles Good customer service and communication skills Ability to safely lift and handle dogs as needed Grooming certification is welcome but not required Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Busy salon environment Supportive team Strong earning potential Opportunity to grow a repeat client base Important Please apply only if you have professional dog grooming experience and are able to complete full grooms independently.
