Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Dog Daycare Attendant and Farm Help, where you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and enrichment for dogs while supporting farm operations. This energetic position combines animal handling, training, grooming, and farm assistance to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for pets and farm animals alike. You'll be a key part of a passionate team dedicated to animal well-being, customer satisfaction, and maintaining a lively, positive atmosphere. Responsibilities Safely handle and supervise dogs during playtime, rest periods, and training sessions to ensure their safety and happiness Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and well-maintained Support veterinary-related activities by administering medications Help with farm chores including feeding, cleaning enclosures,, and assisting with general farm maintenance Heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to support daily operations and ensure safety for all team members Previous experience working with dogs in a kennel, pet sitting, or pet care setting is highly preferred Experience with pet grooming or veterinary technician work will be considered a strong asset Background in animal handling, restraint techniques, or animal care is essential for ensuring safe interactions Customer service skills are important for engaging positively with clients and addressing their needs effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform outdoor farm tasks comfortably is required Prior experience working on farms or with livestock can enhance your ability to support farm-related duties Join us if you're passionate about animals and eager to contribute your skills in a lively environment that values energetic teamwork and compassionate care!
