Dog Bather

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients and their beloved pets. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets receive thorough grooming and bathing services while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties Bathe, brush, and dry pets according to their specific grooming needs. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, including washing tools and equipment after use. Assist in handling pets during grooming and bathing procedures, ensuring they are calm and secure. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet's grooming needs and any observations made during the process. Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues and report findings to the appropriate staff members. Support overall operations by assisting with kennel duties as needed, including feeding, walking, and cleaning up after animals. Experience Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred but not required. Familiarity with pet grooming techniques is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple animals. Experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician is advantageous but not mandatory.
