917-374-2737 adam 631.514.1111 You will receive base pay or commission weekly! The higher of both is what you will be paid. There will be no cap on what you can earn and all tips will be 100% yours. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats. Utilize appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff during grooming procedures. Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners. Assist in heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets as needed. Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from owners. Stay updated on the latest trends in pet grooming, including styles, techniques, and products. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or animal care is preferred. Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and specific grooming requirements. Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, including experience with animal restraint techniques.
