Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any observed health issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, equipment, and tools to ensure a safe environment for pets. Handle animals with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques to enhance skills and service offerings. Collaborate with veterinary technicians or assistants when necessary to address any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Requirements Must have Previous experience in pet grooming, 1+ yrs Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Knowledge of animal handling techniques and safety protocols is essential. Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus but not required. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in grooming tasks. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is crucial for success in this role.
