About Us :
Park & Bark has an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to work semi-independently in a mobile environment. Park & Bark is a mobile grooming business seeking professional mobile pet groomers who are ready to take on the world! Much of our clientele is in and around the Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island area. Most of our clientele will be servicing all kinds of dogs and cats.

Responsibilities/ Job Description:
Provide an overall positive experience for the pets as they are being groomed, including compassion, gentleness, reassurance, safety, and comfort Operate a fully equipped mobile grooming van Schedule appointments Review all appointments prior to home visit Communicate with the pet owners prior to grooming and throughout (if required) Bathe animals Trimming, clipping, and/or shaving hair/fur Remove matted hair Teeth brushing Nail trims Identify any potential health issues (such as ear infections, skin condition, tooth decay, etc.) and inform the pet owner and management Ensure clients are satisfied Communicate with manager(s) regularly Routinely clean work area Ensure grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition Maintain accurate records for each appointment
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a pet grooming certification program Clean driving record Operate with minimum supervision Handle (gently but firmly) animals up to 65lbs Excellent customer service experience is a must Must be able to work flexible hours including some weekends Love for animals!
