Duties Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions and prevent conflicts Assist with basic dog training techniques to encourage good behavior and social skills Handle dogs with care using proper animal restraint and handling techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Provide pet grooming, feeding, and cleaning to maintain a hygienic environment Support veterinary technicians or veterinary assistants with animal care tasks as needed Engage with pet owners by answering questions, providing updates on their pets' activities, and ensuring excellent customer service Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies, crates, or equipment safely Skills Experience in dog handling, training, or pet sitting that demonstrates patience and confidence around animals Veterinary experience or veterinary technician background that supports understanding of animal health needs Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and pet care best practices Strong animal handling skills including restraint and behavior management Customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a positive attitude Familiarity with kennel operations or animal care environments enhances your ability to excel in this role Embark on a rewarding journey where your love for animals makes a difference every day!
