Groomer Trainee - Bather

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled bather willingness and readiness to learn how to be a on the job training provider The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience while maintaining the highest standards of pet care. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs and other pets. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper handling and restraint techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, tools, and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options. Recognize signs of health issues or distress in animals and communicate these observations to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary. Assist in the care of animals in the facility, including feeding, walking, and general supervision. Handle heavy lifting when necessary, particularly with larger breeds or equipment. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming for minimum 2 years Experience in dog training, animal handling, or kennel work is highly valued. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and safety protocols is essential. Strong customer service skills are necessary to build rapport with pet owners and ensure satisfaction.
