The Pet Athletic Club of Cincinnati is looking for individuals to be a part of our amazing team as one of our Dog Daycare "Rufferees." We are looking to fill our closing shift (2:00pm-9:00pm weekends/holidays are required). This is primarily a cleaning position, but does require previous professional dog handling experience. Our Dog Daycare "Rufferees" provide excellent professional care of each dog like they are their own while ensuring the safety, happiness, and any needs of all the dogs that are being boarded, trained, and in our daycare. We can guarantee that you'll have to pick up endless piles of poop, may get a little dirty, work hard, laugh a lot, learn a lot about dogs, and did we mention picking up endless piles of poop. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Detailed Cleaning Taking dogs on bathroom breaks Administering oral and topical medication Feeding meals and lots of snacks Basic bathing Learning and understanding dog body language Processing transactions Customer service Answering Phones Candidates must be reliable, hard-working, have great customer service, be very determined, hard-working, outgoing, able to work well with others but also be able to work independently, extremely detail-oriented, able to follow set instructions, be comfortable around dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and sizes, able to lift 50lbs on their own and more with help, and want to learn and improve their skills. Shifts may change to accommodate boarding demands so a flexible schedule is required but a set schedule is typically sent out a month in advance.
