Responsibilities Assist senior groomers with bathing, drying, and basic grooming tasks for dogs and other small animals Handle animals gently and confidently to ensure their safety and comfort during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Support with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming preferences Help with pet care duties such as feeding, walking, or monitoring animals in the kennel or holding areas Follow safety protocols diligently, including heavy lifting when necessary to move animals or equipment Skills Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work calmly around dogs and other pets of various temperaments Basic knowledge of pet grooming techniques and pet care practices Experience or interest in dog training, veterinary assistance, or animal care is highly valued Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required to move animals or supplies Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Familiarity with veterinary or kennel environments is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Effective communication skills and attention to detail are key for success in this role Join us in creating happy, healthy pets while building your career in animal care!
