Responsibilities Supervise daily play sessions, ensuring all dogs interact safely and positively while adhering to facility guidelines. Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and social skills. Handle dogs using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety during play and grooming procedures. Monitor dogs for signs of stress or illness, promptly reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management. Maintain cleanliness of the facility by cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly. Provide pet grooming services such as brushing or bathing as needed to support overall pet hygiene. Offer exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog's behavior and needs. Assist with pet sitting duties when required, ensuring each dog receives attentive care and companionship. Support veterinary technicians or assistants with basic animal care tasks when necessary. Lift heavy items such as bags of supplies or large dogs safely to prevent injury. Qualifications Previous experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods. Experience working with veterinary professionals or in veterinary technician roles is a plus. Familiarity with pet grooming practices and basic animal care procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint and handling techniques. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods throughout the day.
