Experienced Dog Groomer

We are looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to work part time (could expand to full time if you can build/bring in your own client base). The right candidate will have experience with all breed styles, standard cuts and able to communicate with clients to find the best groom tailored to their pet. If you are a positive, self-motivated, responsible and reliable teammate, we want you to be a part of our team! You must be competent in all aspects of dog bathing and grooming including but not limited to bathing, brush outs, dematting, flea/tick remediation, and be able to groom to breed standards and client requests. Two years of professional experience is preferred, but recent grooming academy graduates will also be considered. Must be proficient in scissoring and clipper techniques.

All qualified candidates will:

Respect animals and have patience to work with difficult pets. Ensure the safety and well-being of each animal. Have basic computer skills and ability to complete personal daily grooming paperwork. Have excellent people skills, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn. Be able to work in a fast paced environment, pay sharp attention to detail, have strong multitasking skills and be very organized. Be able to lift 50 pounds. Have knowledge of the grooming industry and motivation to continue your education. Have a high school diploma or GED. Be able to work independently. We are a family owned pet care facility with a long history of being a local favorite! We work hard and have a lot of fun while giving our clients the best experience with every visit. We offer tuition assistance for industry specific courses. No weekend or evening hours required but we can accommodate this if it is your preference. Looking for a change?
