Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pet grooming, animal handling, and customer service, with the ability to provide exceptional grooming services while ensuring the safety and comfort of each animal. This role offers an opportunity to work in a caring environment dedicated to animal wellness and client satisfaction. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, clipping, and styling of dogs. Handle animals safely and humanely, utilizing proper restraint techniques Assess each pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or products Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work area Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners regarding grooming preferences Ensure all animals are treated with kindness and patience throughout the grooming process Keep detailed records of grooming services provided for each pet Skills Proven experience in pet grooming, including dog handling and animal restraint techniques Strong animal handling skills with a focus on safety and comfort for pets Ability to perform pet grooming tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to lift heavy loads (heavy lifting) when necessary for equipment or large animals Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being
