Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full Time Cleaning Technician. This role requires hands-on cleaning work and working directly with the animals. You will also be working with public members meeting animals, volunteers, and fosters. So this is a position that requires the willingness to socialize with others, not just the animals. You will be a key part of a team that supports animal care, facilitates adoptions, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations with opportunities to learn and grow in the job.
Schedule:
Varies Will be 5 days a week, could be any of the 7 days a week. Could be Monday
  • Friday:
    9:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (could be 8 hrs, 6 hrs, or 4 hr shift) Could be
Saturday:
9:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM Could be Sunday
  • 9:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM Early hours on spay/neuter clinic days of 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, or 7:30 AM Weekly Hours will range from 32
  • 40 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean dog kennels, cat cages, and animal care areas Complete laundry and dishwashing tasks Perform general cleaning Walk, bathe, feed, care for dogs and cats Put away donations, help unload donations Drive animals to vet visits, transport to spay/neuter clinics
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License Must be 18 years old Must have their own transportation to and from work Willing to drive company vehicles as needed Willing to work in all kinds of weather as we have outside kennels Able to lift 40+ lbs regularly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to work with computers and various technology. Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and complete required online training courses Able to participate in ongoing training and development throughout the year
