Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant, where your enthusiasm for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily activities in our lively dog daycare environment, ensuring each furry guest is safe, happy, and engaged. Your positive attitude and animal handling skills will foster a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for animals with meaningful work that makes a difference every day. Duties Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions and prevent conflicts Handle animals with care, using proper restraint techniques when necessary Maintain a clean and organized environment by cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' behavior, needs, and health status Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs safely Experience Previous kennel or animal handling experience preferred, especially in pet care or dog training roles Familiarity with pet sitting or animal restraint techniques is a plus Strong customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners and visitors Ability to handle animals confidently and compassionately in various situations Experience with heavy lifting and physical activity required to manage large or energetic dogs Prior work in veterinary clinics or animal shelters is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key Join us to create a fun, safe, and caring environment where dogs thrive!
