Pet Groomer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners, ensuring that each pet receives the highest level of care and attention. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of various breeds while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options and pet care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Assist in educating pet owners on proper grooming techniques and overall animal care. Work collaboratively with team members to provide a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required; training may be available for the right candidate. Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques is beneficial. Skills in dog training or animal care will be considered an asset. Customer service experience is essential to ensure positive interactions with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
