Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Technician and Doggie Daycare Attendant, where your passion for animals and energetic personality will shine! In this role, you will be the heart of our pet care operations, ensuring that dogs are safe, happy, and well-cared-for throughout their stay. You'll provide exceptional pet handling, patient care and outstanding customer service to pet owners. This paid position offers a rewarding environment for animal lovers eager to make a positive impact on pets' lives every day. Duties Safely handle and restrain dogs of various sizes and temperaments using animal handling techniques. Cleaning and steralization of building Monitor dogs during their stay in the kennel or daycare, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly to maintain a hygienic environment. Support veterinary technicians with basic animal care tasks such as administering medications or assisting during health checks. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' behavior, health status, and special needs. Heavy lifting may be required when moving supplies or assisting with large animals.

Experience Strong animal handling skills along with the ability to restrain animals safely and humanely. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining a gentle approach towards animals. Prior exposure to animal care protocols such as animal restraint, medication administration, or basic veterinary procedures is advantageous. Pay:
$14.50 - $17.50 per hour
