Overview Join the team at Zoomie Zone! Seeking individuals who love dogs and understand caring for them is hard work! We are a small staff, passionate about providing the best experience for the dogs under our care and a great work environment for our staff! This job is not cuddling puppies all day! (although there is some puppy cuddling). Taking care of animals means a lot of messes and a lot of cleaning, we work hard when we are not having fun with the dogs, and making sure their fun stays safe. Our management team has over 45 years of experience working with dogs so you will have a lot of opportunities to learn and our ownership is passionate about continuing to make a great kennel even better for the dogs and staff. •Potential for extra compensation assisting with baths/nail trims•In this energetic role, you will oversee daily activities, ensure dogs are happy and healthy, and provide exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your passion for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine through as you manage multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in pet care and handling. Duties Supervise dogs during playtime, rest periods, and feeding to ensure safety and positive interactions Ensuring a safe and clean play environment throughout the day, detailed cleaning of outdoor yards. Cleaning kennels and assisting with interior and exterior upkeep of facility. Provide pet grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming as needed Caring for boarding dogs including the administration of food,medication,cleaning of rooms and laundry Communication with management regarding dogs well being and experience in boarding and playcare. Strong background in animal handling, restraint, and care ensures safe interactions with dogs of all temperaments Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning supplies, equipment, or assisting with animal movement Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and safety through previous roles in pet care or related fields.
