Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pet grooming, excellent customer service skills, and a genuine love for animals. Candidate must be an experienced groomer, we will not train for this position. No drugs or smoking. Only qualified candidates will be considered. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Use various grooming tools and equipment safely and effectively. Handle animals with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area and equipment. Communicate with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and provide recommendations for care. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for clients. Qualifications 5+ yrs as a professional groomer. Familiarity with dog training techniques and animal handling practices. Knowledge of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming sessions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to handle various breeds of dogs with confidence. A genuine passion for animal care and welfare. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
