This job will give the right applicant a great opportunity to build an exceptional client list from Manayunk, Roxborough, East Falls, Mainline, and beyond! Premier Pets is located on Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia PA in the heart of Roxborough. This full-time W-2 position includes 2 days off per week, a flexible schedule, and quarterly bonuses contingent on quota goals. We pride ourselves on having a relaxing atmosphere to take care of our community's beloved pets. As a member of the team at Premier, you will be provided with a grooming room prepped with ascot low-boy electric grooming tables, k-9 III dryers, and all the bathing equipment needed to work efficiently and effectively. We solely use high-end groom products. We also provide you with the support of a trained bather to assist with your daily grooms and scheduling of your appointments. Pay is commission-based plus tips with an average groom sale of $115+. We ask that only experienced groomers apply to this position that can complete a minimum of 6 dogs per day and work in a group setting. Applicants must be able to groom larger breed dogs. Applicants must have their own clippers and shears, but backup shears will be available at the shop if needed. Applicants must be willing to complete continuing safety and education courses that are reimbursed by the company.

Responsibilities:

Ability to pay attention to clients one at a time Must be able to work weekends Ability to work and communicate with others; including clients and fellow Premier Pet Services personnel Keeping workspace clean throughout the day Must be able to groom large breeds Able to lift dogs when necessary Ensuring proper attention is being directed to the client Ability to work in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Must have 4+ years of dog grooming experience to qualify Knowledge of dog breeds and corresponding cuts Have your own clippers and shears Reliable transportation to arrive at work 15 minutes prior to appointments beginning Must own all appropriate tools for quality grooming services Safely able to handle large dogs Experience with Cat grooming will result in higher pay

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
