Job Description

Welcome to Just For Pets! Just For Pets is a family-focused pet care center in York, PA, offering retail, grooming, and an off‑leash Doggie Day Camp. Our modern facility provides tailored days of play, enrichment, and positive‑reinforcement training to keep dogs active, social, and calm. We prioritize safety and individualized care—every dog completes a behavior assessment and enrollment before joining camp. Job Details Position:
Dog Camp Manager Location:
3680 Bull Rd, York, PA 17408
Schedule:
35-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (hours available 6:30 AM-6:00 PM); Core Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of dog camp Create and maintain employee schedules Respond promptly to customer emails and inquiries Set up and run dog assessments for new and returning campers Communicate regularly with the owner; conduct monthly staff meetings Ensure safety protocols, clean facility standards, and proper recordkeeping Ideal Candidate Information Candidates must have experience in management and a dog daycare environment Experience with grooming, pet retail, and client relationship management would also be preferred
Skills:
Animal behavior knowledge, animal training, managing dogs playing in groups Handling approach: Able to read canine body language and implement calm, assertive handling consistent with our methods (minimal verbal correction, positive reinforcement, encouraging calm/submissive behavior) We seek a strong communicator who is an organized and confident leader
Compensation/Benefits Pay:
starting $21+/hour (competitive based on experience) Starting monthly pay $2940+, depending on hours and experience Paid Time Off Paid Training Employee Discount 401(k) matching
