Administrative Assistant for Dog Walking and Dog Sitting Business (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Hi my name is Sarah and I run a small local business in East Montpelier, VT. My dog daycare and boarding business is looking for a new employee! I am looking for a reliable, organized and compassionate person to support daily operations. This is a hybrid role that involves many different tasks. You will work closely with me in a one on one capacity and I appreciate clear communication, patience, reliability and a positive attitude.

Pay :

$25/hour

Hours :

20-24 hours per week. Approx. 18 hours in person and 2-6 hours remote/work from home

Status :

Part time/hybrid

Benefits :

Bring your own dog to work with you, flexible work schedule and all meals during work hours are provided or paid for I am seeking a part time employee to assist me with taking my awesome group of daycare dogs on pack hikes Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client communication and coordination of schedules
• Basic accounting and book keeping
• Support the business owner with day to day operational tasks
• Light cleaning of dog areas
• Participating in pack walks (must be physically fit and able to walk in all seasons for 2-2.

5 hours)

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Dependable, punctual and self motivated
• Comfortable with dogs and physical activity outside
• Able to balance administrative work with hands-on tasks
• Prior administrative or office experience preferred but not required
• Must love dogs!
