Pet Caregiver and Residential Cleaner

The Role This is a hybrid position perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining a home and caring for the furry family members within it. Your primary focus will be providing high-quality care for pets, with additional opportunities to support our residential and commercial cleaning projects.

Key Responsibilities Elite Pet Care:

Provide attentive, overnight sitting in clients' homes. You must be comfortable handling various breeds and temperaments with patience and expertise.

Mobile Service:

Travel across our service area (Ocean View, Baylake Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach) to meet client needs.

Cleaning Services:

Execute thorough residential and commercial cleaning tasks based on client specifications and experience.

Client Relations:

Act as the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication with pet owners and property managers.

Requirements Experience:

Proven history of animal handling and/or professional cleaning.

Reliability:

Exceptional time management skills and a "client-first" mindset.

Mobility:

A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation are strictly required for travel between cities.

Availability:

Must be comfortable and available for overnight stays in client residences.

Trustworthiness:

Many opportunities for growth within the company for motivated individuals! This opening is focused in the Norfolk area, primarily for pet sitting with some cleaning jobs available. At Anytime Home and Pet Service, we are looking for motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate individuals to join our team and provide pet services (walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays), residential cleaning, and commercial cleaning. Job type will depend on client demands and areas served.

Duties :

Pet Services:

• Communicate with clients (texts, pictures/videos and updates)
• 30-60 minute walks
• Drop-In Visits (potty breaks or short walk, feed/water, play time, administer medicine, etc)

• Overnight Pet Sitting Residential Cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

Skills :

• Attention to detai l: Ability to thoroughly clean and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Ability to observe and maintain pet care.
• Time managemen t: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina : Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods of time. Ability to manage, walk, and care for various animals.

  Effectively communicate with team members and clients regarding questions, needs, or concerns.

Flexibility :

Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed. Please note that specific duties may vary depending on the type of job scheduled, as well as specific client requests. We do require reliable transportation and a willingness to use your personal vehicle going to and from job assignments.
