As a Pet Sitter working in clients' homes, you'll deliver attentive pet care that ensures pets feel secure, loved, and well-cared-for during their visits. Must reside in Saratoga county, and be able to provide adequate day and night time care, own your own home and be 18+ Duties Provide daily pet care including feeding, administering medication, and ensuring hydration Engage pets with play, exercise, and mental stimulation tailored to their needs Monitor pet health and behavior; report any concerns or unusual symptoms promptly Maintain a clean environment by cleaning up after pets and managing waste effectively Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners to ensure consistency and comfort Qualifications Prior experience with pet sitting or animal care, including dog handling and pet grooming skills Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles adds valuable insight into animal health management Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely when needed Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy supplies or equipment comfortably Passion for animals with a caring attitude and attention to detail in pet care routines Join us in making a difference in pets' lives by providing compassionate, professional in-home care that owners trust!
