Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, and styling to meet client specifications and breed standards Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures Assist with dog training activities and reinforce positive behaviors during grooming sessions Restrain animals safely using appropriate animal handling techniques and equipment Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment Provide pet care advice to owners regarding grooming routines, pet health, and hygiene best practices Support veterinary staff with basic animal handling or restraint as needed during procedures or examinations Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a strong plus Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses demonstrates versatility in animal handling Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles provides valuable insight into animal health and safety protocols Familiarity with kennel operations or pet sitting enhances your ability to manage various pet care situations Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their needs Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large animals Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming and compassionate care!
