Job Description

Responsibilities :
I'm seeking someone who exudes confidence in their grooming skills and possesses exceptional customer service abilities. Leadership, time management, and flexibility are essential qualities for this role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the salon from opening to closing. You'll serve as my "right hand man" both during my presence and when I'm not. This position offers a higher pay compared to a typical "grooming only" role. Provide professional pet grooming services, including bathing, brushing, haircuts (with patterns if desired), and nail trims, to clients' pets. Answer client phone calls and texts promptly throughout the day. Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming procedures. Maintain a clean and organized grooming salon throughout your shift. Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences. Assist other groomers when needed to the best of your ability (you'll have two other groomers with you in the salon). Handle animal restraint calmly and gently. Be willing to help re-schedule clients at check-out or during phone calls using the scheduling book. Keep client cards up to date and organized.
Qualifications:
Must be able to groom both small and large breeds. At least six pets per day in a timely manner. Must have at least one year of experience in pet grooming. Strong knowledge of different grooming techniques for various dog breeds. Excellent customer service skills with effective communication with pet owners. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Passion for working with animals and providing high-quality care. Ability to check customers out using the Square app system or cash box.

Pay:
$110.00 - $250.00 per day
