Duties Provide attentive pet care including feeding, grooming, exercise, and companionship to ensure animals are happy and healthy Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during examinations or grooming sessions Support grooming staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic grooming procedures as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and pet spaces to uphold hygiene standards Offer pet sitting services by monitoring pets' health and behavior during owners' absence Communicate effectively with pet owners about care routines, behavioral observations, and special needs Requirements Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain and manage different breeds and temperaments Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with larger animals Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members Basic understanding of dog training techniques and behavioral management Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays as required Embark on a career where every day is dedicated to making animals' lives better!
