Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and styling tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during grooming procedures Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards Assess each pet's condition and communicate any concerns related to health or behavior to pet owners or veterinary staff Assist with pet handling and restraint techniques to ensure safe grooming sessions Provide exceptional customer service by explaining grooming processes, recommending products, and addressing client questions or concerns Support pet care activities such as feeding or administering medications if required during grooming appointments Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles demonstrates strong animal care skills Experience working with animals such as dogs, horses, or other pets in kennel or animal shelter environments is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large dogs Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members Demonstrated commitment to animal safety, restraint techniques, and pet sitting responsibilities Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
