Full-time Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Boarding Kennel Attendant to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of pets staying in our care. Key Responsibilities:

Animal Care Feed, water, and monitor pets according to individualized care instructions Clean and sanitize kennels, bedding, food bowls, and play areas Assist with administering basic medications (as directed by veterinary staff) Provide enrichment: walking, playtime, socialization, and comfort Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to management or veterinary staff Facility Operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kennel environment at all times Follow proper cleaning and sanitation protocols Assist with laundry, restocking supplies, and general housekeeping Ensure accurate documentation of feeding, medication, and behavior reports Client Service Assist with pet check-ins and check-outs Communicate clearly and positively with clients about their pet's stay Handle personal belongings and pet records with care and accuracy

Qualifications:

Prior experience in animal care, kennels, shelters, or vet clinics preferred, but not required Ability to handle dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions Comfortable with physical tasks: bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, and cleaning Ability to work outside for short periods in all weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends/holidays Positive attitude with a team-focused work ethic
