Kennel Tech

Overview We are looking for a reliable, dog-loving Daycare and Boarding Kennel Tech to join our small but fabulous team. Your job will be to care for the well-being of the pets in our facility, and to clean up after them. This means you will be responsible for ensuring that our dogs receive all the proper attention, are kept clean, and exercised - all while making sure they stay happy and safe. This position is ideal for someone who has a big heart, loves dogs, and who doesn't mind getting a little dirty. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, and exercising. Maintain cleanliness of the suites-kennels, play areas, and other areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the management Engage with pet owners and provide exceptional customer service regarding their dogs' care. Maintain accurate recordings of pet care and any incidents that occur during shifts. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both pets and staff. Skills Strong knowledge of pet care practices, including feeding, general health, and pet body language. Experience with dog handling techniques, including restraint methods for various breeds while on leash. Ability to provide excellent customer service while interacting with pet owners. Good communication skills to effectively work within a team setting. Familiarity with reading/understanding canine body language A love of pets, especially dogs and commitment to their welfare. Pay:
