But here's what you can count on: Competitive starting pay for the role Increases and bonus opportunities as the business grows (we want you to grow with us) Clear pathways for advancement into leadership, supervisory, or specialist roles (grooming, training, etc.) Position Overview The Pet Care Technician is responsible for the daily care, feeding, exercise, and overall well-being of pets in our facility. This role ensures a safe, clean, and positive environment for both pets and their owners. Key Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, watering, exercising, and monitoring behavior Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces according to health and safety standards Supervise group play, ensuring safe socialization and positive interaction among pets Administer basic medications (oral/topical) as directed by pet owners Assist with grooming services (bathing, brushing, nail trims, etc.) when needed Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with pet parents about their pet's stay Monitor for any signs of illness, stress, or injury and report to supervisor/management Follow all safety procedures for handling pets of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments Qualifications Previous experience in animal care, pet daycare/boarding, or veterinary environment preferred (but not required) Passion for working with animals and a commitment to their well-being Ability to work in a physically active environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, walking dogs, cleaning) Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Strong teamwork skills and reliability Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Perks Opportunities for growth into Lead Tech or Supervisor roles Staff discounts on boarding, daycare, and grooming services Positive, supportive work environment with training provided Apply today and come grow with us — we can't wait to meet you!
