Duties Provide grooming services including brushing, trimming, and hair cuts for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns. Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Monitor pets for signs of health issues or behavioral changes during grooming sessions. Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service and enhance the overall experience for clients. Requirements Proven experience in animal care or grooming is required; certification in pet grooming is a plus. Strong skills in animal handling, with the ability to manage pets of various sizes and temperaments. Knowledge of basic veterinary care or experience as a veterinary technician is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members. A background in dog training, kennel management, or animal care is beneficial but not mandatory. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
