This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pet grooming, animal handling, and customer service within a lively, supportive setting. Duties Safely handle and groom dogs and other small animals, ensuring they are comfortable and well-cared for during bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling processes Assist pet owners by providing friendly, informative customer service—answering questions about grooming procedures and pet care needs Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Restrain animals safely using proper handling techniques to prevent injury or stress during grooming sessions Heavy lifting of pets or supplies may be required; ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Sell Pet Food and Accessories Experience Previous experience in pet bathing or animal handling is highly preferred Customer service experience is essential for creating positive interactions with pet owners and addressing their needs confidently Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods is necessary to succeed in this energetic role Pet retail sales experience is highly preferred
