Grooming Production Assistant

Job Description Santa Cruz Animal Health, a division of Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc. , produces UltraCruz® premium brand Supplements, Grooming and Critical Care products and provides a full line of animal health products for horses, livestock, and companion animals. Santa Cruz Biotechnology has been a world leader in the development of research antibodies, biochemicals, and labware for the biomedical research market. Santa Cruz Animal Health has an immediate opening for an entry level Animal Health Grooming Production Assistant at its Dallas, TX Headquarters campus. This is a full-time or part-time position with career advancement opportunities within the company.

Required Skills:

Ability to assist in steps necessary to manufacture and package UltraCruz® supplement product line. Ability to troubleshoot issues and breakdowns with manufacturing line. Capacity to participate in meetings and informal discussions to review and improve procedures in order to maintain efficient workflow. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Communicate with team members and management effectively. Excellent business communication skills. Detail oriented and able to exactly follow established protocols. Work as part of team and communicate with supervisor

Desired Skills:

Some manufacturing experience desired, but not required. Maintain high standards of cleaning Maintain production equipment GMP and HACCP certification, or the ability to obtain in one year.
