Kennel Technician

Dog boarding hotel is in search of qualified individual to work directly with our dogs as "Kennel Technician". Applicants must be sincere dog lovers, who can deal with hard work, are highly dependable and don't mind getting dirty. This is a permanent full-time position (not seasonal or temporary). Must be available to work 9 am

• 5 pm some of the weekend shifts , and certain weekday shifts (AM/PM shifts can be scheduled) . This is a fast paced environment that requires the ability to work quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Cleaning kennels
• Feeding animals
• Medicating animals
• Washing dishes
• Doing laundry
• Walking dogs
• Keeping a clean work space
• Provide a safe, clean, & healthy environment for ALL in facility
• Able to complete tasks with initiative

Requirements:

• Previous Experience in the dog industry (is a plus).
• Ability to walk, run, and carry a dog on a leash.
• Ability to patiently and compassionately care for pets.
• Available to work on the weekends.
• Maintain favorable and positive work relations with others.
• Be on your feet all day.
• Coming to work on time.

You will need to be comfortable around dogs and clean up the daily occasional dog mess. It does smell like dogs, so if you do not like dogs or the smell of dogs this may not be a good match. Also, employees can bring their dogs to work with them for free daycare as long as they are social and do well in our set up.
