Dog Bather

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong ability to handle various breeds of dogs. As a Dog Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of pets, providing them with a comfortable and enjoyable bathing experience. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work with animals in a safe and effective manner. Duties Bathe, rinse, and dry dogs according to their specific grooming needs. Handle dogs safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort throughout the bathing process. Use appropriate restraint techniques to manage dogs during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area. Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming. Assist with brushing, nail trimming, and other basic grooming tasks as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs. Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and staff. Qualifications Experience in dog handling and animal restraint is preferred. Knowledge of pet care practices, including bathing techniques and grooming basics. Ability to lift heavy animals safely (up to 50 pounds). Previous experience in pet sitting, animal care, or as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with both animals and their owners. A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
