Job Description

Pay:
$10.00 - $1 1 .00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Zookeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care and management of various animal species within the zoo, ensuring their well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of animal behavior, anatomy, along with hands-on experience in animal handling and care. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health. Administer medications as prescribed by veterinary staff and maintain accurate health records. Conduct regular inspections of animal habitats to ensure safety and cleanliness. Engage with visitors to educate them about the animals. Assist in the development of enrichment activities to promote natural behaviors in animals. Qualifications Experience in animal handling is preferred. Strong communication skills for interacting with visitors and coworkers. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks related to animal care.
