Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Groomer to join our dynamic pet care team! In this role, you will provide professional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. Your expertise will help ensure pets leave looking and feeling their best, while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of animals, demonstrating your skills in animal handling, grooming techniques, and pet care. Responsibilities Must maintain and supply your own grooming equipment Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, nail clipping, and styling tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by properly sanitizing tools, grooming stations, and bathing areas Assess each pet's health condition during grooming sessions and communicate any concerns or abnormalities to pet owners or veterinary staff Assist with pet handling and restraint techniques to ensure safe grooming procedures for animals of all sizes and temperaments Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, explaining grooming procedures, and offering pet care advice Support team members with kennel duties or other animal care tasks as needed to promote overall well-being of the animals in our facility Experience Prior experience in pet grooming is required , with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styling techniques Background in dog training or animal handling enhances your ability to work confidently with diverse animals Knowledge of pet care routines including pet sitting, or kennel management is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or transporting animals safely Excellent communication skills coupled with a genuine love for animals make you an ideal candidate for this energetic role
