Grooming Admin/Bather

•This is a full time position. We do not hire part time•We are looking for a full time (36-40 hours per week) Grooming Admin/bather for our Pearland location's grooming department. Safari veterinary Care centers offers a wide range of services to its clients; veterinary care and surgery, pet rehabilitation, grooming and boarding. We board dogs, cats and exotic animals kept as pets including reptiles and primates. We groom dogs, cats and some exotic pets. As an Admin/Bather you will be: Bathing dogs, cats and other pets. Walking grooming dogs if they need to go outside.. Cleaning kennels and doing laundry. Monitoring the health status of grooming animals and assisting veterinary staff with veterinary treatments for grooming pets. Updating grooming paperwork, charges and checking pets in and out. Managing client financial transactions and cash handling. Ensuring vaccines and deworming are current on grooming pets. Undertaking training in veterinary health care topics. This is an Entry Level Full Time position (36+ hours per week) . The ideal candidate will have experience of bathing or grooming, is a good communicator with good computer skills and enjoys working as part of a team. The clinic is open 7 days a week. Admin/bather shifts are either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. Weekends are mandatory. Professional appearance required (no visible piercings or tattoos). Pay is $10-$12 per hour depending on experience and skills interview.
